ASI Groyne clean-up day

A clean up of the popular recreational fishing spot, the ASI Groyne in Henderson has been organised by recreational fishermen from the Western Angler Fishing Forum, and you are invited to help. Download a flyer here (PDF file)

When: Sunday July 5th 2009. Time: 9am - 12.30pm, followed by a free sausage sizzle.

Where: ASI Groyne - Southern end of Clarence Beach Road in Henderson. Use the zoom in slider to find Clarence Beach Road on this map of the area (link opens in a new window)

Parking:- on the sides of Clarence Beach Road prior to the groyne!! Please do not drive onto the groyne.

• Volunteer Fisheries Liaison Officers

• Recfishwest

• Western Angler Fishing Forum members

• Interested members of the public.

Equipment supplied:

• Rubbish pickers

• Gloves (kindly donated by MSA Australia)

• Bags and Miniskips (kindly donated by City of Cockburn)

• Sausage Sizzle (kindly donated by Chris Stannage)

Bring:

Yourself, a happy demeanour and appropriate clothing.

On arrival:

Please read the flyer that details safety precautions and outlines how and where to collect the rubbish.
