Recfishwest Northern Fishing Clinic Tour 2007
Recfishwest set out on 6 August 2007 on it's Northern Fishing CLinic Tour. Carnarvon
was the first stop and the tour ended with the last of about 25 clinics held in
Derby. These clinics are made possible with the support of Healthway and the Cancer
Council WA as well ast the Federal Government through its Recreational Community
Grants Program.
The clinics are designed to be fun while teaching participants
responsible and sustainable fishing practices, the importance of SunSmart behaviour
and promoting recreational fishing as an alternative to drugs and other anti-social
behaviour.
The fishing clinics were again a huge success and very
well received. A full report will be posted soon.
