Jetties, platforms and other fishing spots
Point Walter Jetty
Pt Walter is a popular family fishing spot along the Swan River.
Main species of fish caught; Black bream, tarwhine, tailor, flathead.
Location: End of Honour Avenue BICTON.
Facilities: Kiosk, BBQs, picnic area, wheel chair access, ample
parking available.
Pt Walter Sand-bar
A short stroll from the jetty is the Pt
Walter sand-bar. At low tide it is exposed for hundreds of metres.
During the summer months, casting into the shallow water can produce
good sized flathead and flounder.
