North Mole Clean-up Day

Recfishwest would like to thank and praise all involved in the North Mole clean up which took place on Sunday 6 August.

Many thanks to the VFLOs, Wangler website subscribers, members of Recfishwest and members of the public who all gave up part of their weekend to participate in the clean up.

Much rubbish was removed and many of the problems of the world resolved in a most friendly manner over a sausage and roll after the clean up. A wonderful example of cooperation and presenting the positive image of recreational fishers to the wider community.

Interesting how many small light stick packets were picked up - more numerous by quite a bit than bait bags as 'fishing rubbish'.

Thanks again to all concerned on a most successful venture.
