While holidaying in Broome, Reuben Scheckter fished
from the Broome jetty with a hand line and caught a
variety of fish, including this 55cm golden trevally.


Kobe Halse with a black bream caught at Walpole
on the Recfishwest special Halco Laser Pro 45 lure.


Peter Ryall with a colossal 6lb rainbow trout caught
in a special place in the south west.


Ian Davidson with a very nice pink snapper measuring
800mm, caught in Geraldton waters.


Travis Davis with a salmon caught at Eagle Bay,
Dunsborough over the Easter break.


Steve Palumbo (Broome), sent this photo in
with the following message; "Weather
has started coming good up here as late and
the fishing is following the same trend. Touch
wood we don't see anymore cyclones.

Please find attached a pic of myself (wearing
my lucky Recfishwest shirt) holding a 15.5 kilo
black jew measuring 115cm. It was caught in 3
meters of water using an 8 kilo baitcaster. I'll
have to wear that lucky shirt more often".


Andrew Bell with a good size Samson fish, showing

Andrew Bell hooked this tiger shark about 20kms west
of Rottnest. Although not usually found this far
south, they can be encountered in years when warmer
currents flow down the WA coastline.


Steven Clarence caught this beautiful 56 cm King
George whiting in metropolitan waters at a depth
of 45 metres.


"Pigeon" and Duncan Palmer had some sensational
sessions on big fingermark in the Kimberley recently. This
one measured 80cm and was returned using a
"release weight" (2007 version shown).



Travis Davis with a big estuary cod caught at Dirk Hartog
Island. Great to see that you've embraced the SunSmart message

Fishing in the Kimberley, Scott Goodson and Dick Pasfield
had one of their best sessions targetting fingermark (left,
Scott with a 79cm fingermark and Dick with a nice Queenfish).

These pictures almost speak for themselves! While flicking
lures for flathead in the Canning River, this lucky fisher
hooked a small bream, only to have it monstered by a huge
flathead. Needless to say, he couldn't believe his luck!!
