Recfishwest is the recognised peak recreational fishing body in Western Australia and is your voice whenever decisions which affect our fisheries, or access to them, are being made.

Recreational fishing is enjoyed by an estimated 643,000 people in WA each year. Recfishwest has the broad aim of promoting recreational fishing as a rewarding experience and being an effective voice, in all forums, to promote the best interests of recreational fishers in Western Australia.

We recognise fisheries as a resource which must be managed in a sustainable way and promote the message of "FISH TODAY FOR TOMORROW".
