Submissions
Recfishwest endeavours to respond to all issues and developments that may impact upon recreational fishing, and to prepare letters or submissions or presentations which cover Recfishwest's position on important topics.
Submissions are drafted by staff, or by individual Board members, and are approved by the Recfishwest Executive or Board.
Even though considerable time, research and effort is spent in preparing many of these submissions, they are not locked in, except that many have external deadlines and the other parties may have already completed their action on the topic.
Supplementary letters or submissions may be prepared to cover any changes in the circumstances of the topic or in response to new information where the topic is still open for decisions by other parties.
All members of the fishing public with an interest in any of the Recfishwest letters or submissions are encouraged to contact us with any questions they would like to have answered about these, or with any points they believe should be included or considered in a submission or excluded from a submission.
All members of the fishing public are welcome to ask for the preparation or the review of Recfishwest submissions about any topic on fish, fishing or the marine and freshwater environment which affects recreational fishing now or in the future.
